If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use LetterLeaf. By using our services, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and, if applicable, have authority to act on behalf of any organization you represent.

3. Account Registration

To use LetterLeaf, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • All activity that occurs under your account

  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use LetterLeaf only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use our services to send spam, phishing emails, or malicious content

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our platform

  • Use the service to violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or offensive

  • Resell or redistribute our services without written permission

  • Use automated tools to overload or disrupt our infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms.

5. AI Features and Output

LetterLeaf provides AI-generated suggestions, including email categorization, replies, summaries, and sentiment analysis. You acknowledge that:

  • AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies

  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before sending

  • LetterLeaf is not liable for actions taken based on AI-generated suggestions

You retain ownership of your emails, documents, and other content you upload. We do not claim rights to your data.

6. Subscription and Payment

LetterLeaf offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees in advance, on a monthly or annual basis

  • Authorize automatic renewals unless cancelled

  • Provide accurate billing information

Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Free Trials

We may offer free trials with limited usage (e.g., 7 days, 100 AI credits). At the end of the trial, your account will not automatically convert to a paid plan unless you choose to subscribe. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free trial offerings at any time.

8. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that could harm LetterLeaf, other users, or third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

LetterLeaf, including its logo, brand, software, and content, is owned by LetterLeaf or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you upload. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing LetterLeaf to you.

10. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable, uninterrupted service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. LetterLeaf may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

11. Disclaimers

LetterLeaf is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding:

  • The accuracy or reliability of AI-generated output

  • The fitness of our services for any particular purpose

  • The uninterrupted or error-free operation of our platform

You use LetterLeaf at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetterLeaf and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LetterLeaf, its founders, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via our website or email. Continued use of LetterLeaf after changes means you accept the updated terms.
