Turn it on

Go to Account → AI Category, click Manage on the account, and switch on Show categories in my inbox. This is available for Gmail and Outlook accounts.

What it does

• Each AI category becomes a colored label in Gmail or a colored category in Outlook, applied to the same emails LetterLeaf sorted.

• Emails waiting for your answer get a red Needs a Reply label. It’s removed automatically when you reply, whether you reply from LetterLeaf or from your mail app.

• Renaming or recoloring a category in LetterLeaf updates the label in your mailbox.

LetterLeaf only touches labels it created. Your own labels and folders are never changed.

Turn it off

Switch the toggle off. New emails stop getting labels; you can remove the existing ones in Gmail or Outlook if you want a clean slate.
